Girl Sized clothing

I make matching dresses for girls and I can make some of the girl's jewelry too. If anyone is interested, feel free to PM me. I love to sew and DD has too many AG look-alike dresses already! Some day I will make an album of them.

Since DD and I just started collecting AGs we are way behind the boat when it comes to the girl sized historical clothing.

Now, that DD has chosen her historical doll, I am on the look-out for girl-sized historical clothing. Ebay is the best resource I have found so far, but here is my question. Were outfits made in sizes 7-16? I have been looking at Kit outfits and have only seen them in larger (sz 12-14) sizes. DD is only 6 and is VERY petite for her age. I am hoping to find a size 7 or 8 and hope that it will fit her for a year or so to come. She is average height but she is very slim so I think a 7 will be good.

Anyway, I have yet to see any outfits for Kit or any of the other girls in the smaller sizes come up. I know it is a waiting game, especially since we don't need an outfit until the fall, but I am concerned that what I am looking for will never come up, and then I will have missed an opportunity to get the item, just in a larger size.

I am not good at being patient but I think I will have to be. SO, basically I am hoping that you guys can give me hope that the items I am looking for will appear.

Lara, why don't you get the Kit PJ set for Kailey and kit? That is $50 for both the doll and girl PJs. This way you can see the size and how Kailey acts to the dress alike theme.

Kit only had two girl sized outfits. Her meet outfit and then her Xmas dress. Wish they had made more!!!

If you find any other historical outfits in good prices, then I suggest picking them up.

Also, you can get a AGOT outfit/ doll look a like set as well. If Kailey does want to have Kit wear AGOT outfits, that will be fine then.

Diana and I both love all the look alike clothes. I was able to find Samantha's grey flannel school dress in a girl's size 6X before Christmas. She's gonna have to be wearing that dress and getting a pic taken soon because I don't think it will fit her next year. I also have matching dresses for Diana for Josefina's Christmas and her Summer dress with vest and hat. I think both of those are a size 10. I might let her try one on to see for fit if it might work at all since we're going to AGPC for Josefina's bday celebration. Maybe one of them won't be too big. I think there clothes run on the small side anyway. She's going to love those.

I have the Paisley dress and the jeans outfit too. The dress is big on her but she wears it now but the jeans outfit is too long and big for now. Probably next year.

I also got the girl size Kailey swimsuit and beachbag for her since she's getting Kailey for her bday in April.

Have fun looking for the historicals. The three items I did get are in perfect condition and didn't even look worn at all.
